Gerhart is seeking a Field Service Technician to specialize in Instrumentation services to join our team. In this position there will be a strong focus on performing various field services to include instrumentation and industrial services. The ideal candidate should have a general mechanical or electrical background, be a self-starter with a solid customer oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

• Perform both Instrumentation services and Industrial field services
• Accurately record and maintain testing data in accordance with defined standards
• Instrumentation services include: electronic troubleshooting skills, maintain and calibrate all types of Industrial Process Control and Laboratory Instrumentation; pressure, temperature, chart recorders, flow, level, LEL, torque meters, etc.
• Satisfactorily troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose malfunctions. Provide solutions that meet or exceed the customer's expectations

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic devices
• Previous relatable instrumentation experience
• Able to bend, crawl, and lift 50 lb. for extended periods of time in a safe manner
• Good communication, writing and proven customer relations skills
